Message-ID: <10452@uwm.edu> Date: 22 Mar 91 23:02:43 GMT Sender: news@uwm.edu Organization: University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Lines: 15 I need to buy a harddrive for my new computer (386/25). I was wondering what suggestions (or facts) about the various types (SCSI,ESDI,RLL,MFM,...). Here is what I have so far: - I do not want an IDE drive. - I cannot afford an ESDI drive. :-( SCSI has been the *standard* (used loosely) for a while, but I am open to any type of drive (obviously I am looking for fastest access & throughput). Any information would help. Thank-you very much for you help, Rob
