This is a bug, I presume. Thanks for your suggestions, Paul. Unfortunately, I've already tried all those: I turned it on *first* before printing, I didn't select it from the application section nor multifinder icon flip, and finally, I had over a meg free. I think it is probably an INIT conflict, and I just haven't had time to track it down yet. (Yes, I *have* looked in INITinfo, but it doesn't mention MultiSpool specifically.)
