	i have upgraded my "research 512's" to 4 Mb and An 80Mb hard disk.
The board i used was a thing called mac rescue. basically giving more memory
and a scsi port. However if you have a strait off 512, ie not a 512e, then you
may have a problem where the 800k drive is concerned, as a 512 will not 
accept an 800k mechanism, anly 400's. if you can scrounge some 128k roms
then that will be a good place to start.
