The box I have in mind does switch all 8 pins, but is not specified in the make-break / break-make sequence. (i.e., it is possible that for a split second during the switch transition, all three are connected). This is a _manual_ control box, with no buffering, etc. On the same vein, anyone seen a DA or Fkey that changes the state of the AppleTalk byte (inactive / active)??? Thanks in advance James
