I have a friend who knows how to fix and install components, I am not particularly knowledgable myself. 1. Has anyone had success with installling an 800 K drive? I have this book called Macintosh repairs secrets, and I think it says that although your're supposed to upgrade the ROM chips, you can really get away without it. Am I wrong? 2. Does anyone have experience with keyboard problems? Mine only works if I keep one hand on the cable-keyboard connection, or push the keyboard against the monitor to keep it in snug. I am going to try replacing the clip on the end of the cable, but if that doesn't do it, am I more likely to need a new cable or a new keyboard? (I understand you can't buy a socket alone.) Thanks for any assistance.
