Lines: 11 If I have HyperCard writing to text files using open file, write file, close file commands, etc. is there a way to check and see if a file is currently open? I'd like to be able to issue a close file command conditionally only if the file is still open in one particular case, in another, I want to write conditionally. This is in a stack for testing XCMDs, so I can't depend on all scripts executing and updating globals correctly to keep track myself of what the status is.
