Subject: Need help with NoteAlert within an INIT!!!

I am writing an INIT in which I want to display an Alert at a certain
event that I am trapping for.  The problem I am having is that
I can't get the Alert to display with NoteAlert().  Do I need to initialize
some things first, and if so, what and how?
