I do not have the installation manual, but there is a picture in the users' manual which should be adequate for anyone skilled enough to do this kind of hardware hacking. One alternative (I did this for a friend) is to sell the drive to a PC user and use the hardware (including fan and PSU) to install an internal SCSI drive in a 512. The interface board, in this case, is a high-tech ornament. The biggest problem with the Hyperdrive, in my experience, is the connector on the interface card that connects the board to the 68000 on your Mac.
