In asserts that I can request a registration package by sending mail to devforum@sgi.com, which I tried to do. Unfortunately, SGI's mail system bounced it, with a "User unknown" error. Would someone at SGI like to either (1) fix the problem at that end, or (2) provide us with an alternate address to use? Yeah, I know, I could use the telephone, but with my rather bizarre work schedule and the three-timezone difference, there isn't much overlap between my workday and that of whoever would answer phone requests.
