We're looking for a package to support an undergraduate digital-design lab. The hope is that we can use a graphical emulation program and thus eliminate the cost and maintainance of project boxes and all the associated hardware and lab assistants. The high-end digital CAD workstations are nice, but the unit cost is of course higher that a hardware lab station. Hopefully, a simpler low-end pro gram is available which might not be powerful enough for production engineering, but would be adequate for a first lab course. If you have any experience with such, please drop me a note. Scott R. Cannon, PhD scott@cannon.cs.usu.edu Dept. of Computer Science (801) 750-2015 Utah State Univ.
