Try a world of 'networks of hundreds of workstations, each with one or two principle users.' For this type of setup, where the principle users probably have root access to their own workstation, your solution is far too complex. -- =*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*=*= Neil W.
