How about the ability to undo more than just the last edit (some sort of undo history or ring) And the ability to redo more than one edit (i.e. Change 5 words, go forward 10 words, change 2 characters, go to the beginning of the line and insert 2 tabs and go down one line. Good! Now do that again!)
