I looked at doing this with terminfo and such, but since not all programs use this method of access, the solution does not work. I have a VGA board in this machine and run it in text mode. X is not an alternative, since I can't afford the disk space. What I'd like to do is have a blue background with white letters, just as I do under DOS.
