Good luck. If you want to use a 256 colour .GIF, and you only have a 16 colour driver for Windows, GIF2BMP will give pretty icky results. WINGIF gives similiar results at first, but offers a dithering option that produces a passable reproduction. Load your GIF, dither it, and save as a bmp (RGB?)
