One thing I found was that I couldn't load any- thing in expanded memory using the PCSA EMSLOAD program - that was sure to limit Windows to Standard (or even real) mode. Use LOADHI as much as possible - let the QEMM Optimize program set up your config.sys and autoexec.bat files for you.
