Certainly! ;-) This is one of the areas where X has been deficient for a while. A fairly useful application of this would be much as Barry Margolin describes. To be able to iconify down your entire list of active clients and redirect them to another X display would be a real boon to distributed working. Changing between X displays is something I do quite a lot even within the office and it's a real pain having to close everything down and start it all up again. On a slightly different thread, being able to iconify all your clients into one icon and lock that icon's uniconify action would be fairly cool too. Locking a display up with xlock has always been a fairly antisocial (IMHO ;-) thing to do, but being able to kick back to the xdm propmt to allow other people to use the workstation (while still having the locked icon somewhere on the screen) is a bit more friendly.....
