 I have some problems with using DEC applications, namely dxmail, dxnotepad and dxcalendar. I am using the twm window manager on a DECstation 2100.

On startup I would like to start dxmail and dxnotepad iconified. The only way I can do that at present is by using a StartIconified statement in my .twmrc file, which then causes problems. For example popups in dxnotepad also start iconified.

With dxcalendar, I am unable to set the screen location---the -geometry modifier doesn't seem to be recognised.
 
A final problem, how do I set the screen location of the session manager?

I have spent enough time reading man entries, and any help would be appreciated. Email is preferred since I don't usually read this group.
