Subject: Trouble with xview and xselection

I'm having trouble using "xselection", one of the contributed x
clients, to set the CLIPBOARD selection, to xview's satisfaction.

For example I run "xselection CLIPBOARD test", to make "test" the shelf
selection. The Sun OW2 file manager, clipboard is happy with it, at
least "test" shows up in its clipboard. If I write my own trivial xview
client "test" comes back properly from "selection_ask", and looks no
different then what comes back from a OW copy.

However, if I try and paste it into a text window, only the first
letter "t" shows up. Worse yet, if I try to paste into a panel text
item, the client dies with a segment error.

Any ideas what the problem is.
