	What are the different formats for storing raster bitmap files
	on disk. Are there any different storage techniques as opposed to 
	storage formats ?

	( By formats I mean things that usually vary from vendor to vendor ..
	whereas the storage techniques are more the fact whether or not the
	raster data is stored in a compressed/uncompressed format or 
	stored as binary/quad trees, etc. )
