I would like to set up translations for both a composite widget and
its children, and only actually try to send the event to the child if
the container doesn't have a translation defined.  Is there some
standard protocol for this?  A standard technique?  It seems to me to
be something that would be pretty routine but I can't find any direct
reference that describes a meachanism...  Is what I want trivial,
difficult, impossible?  I would think it should be easy.
