We run X11R4 with the 'twm' window manager. I'm writing an application with lots of pop-up windows. But 'twm' seems to be able to restack windows so that my application's main window can actually HIDE its own pop-ups. This is very confusing to the users, who wonder why the program has hung, with a waiting pop-up window buried and hidden under the main program window. How do I force pop-ups to always stack ON TOP OF the main application window ? * can I do something from my application program ? (If so, what ??) * otherwise, can I give some command to 'twm' ? (if so, which ??) THANK YOU !!! ==> please use email (glenn@dit.lth.se), I will summarize if there is interest. -- PLEASE don't use "REPLY" (there is no such address as glenn@DNA.LTH.Se) ---------- Glenn Jennings DSt/LTH Email: glenn@dit.lth.se (CORRECT) Dept. of Computer Engineering Tel: (+46) 46 109763 Box 118, Lund University Fax: (+46) 46 104714 S-221 00 Lund, SWEDEN ** WRONG: (glenn@DNA.LTH.Se) WRONG **
