What I would like to do is use XmInstallImage to make an xbm file 'resident'. This can be done using vanilla Xlib calls, but I want to use the bitmap to pixmap converter XmGetPixmap. I have mucked around in the source, and can see how it was done in MessageB.c, but the function they use: CreateDefaultImage, does not seem to be available at the application programmer level. So what is the front end to XmInstallImage? There has to be some way of telling XmInstallimage which bitmap to use, yes? If this question makes sense to you, then please enlighten me.
