Can't agree with you more about revitalisation of those paralysed parts in certain circumstances, but unfortunately the paralysis is due to Cerebral Palsy since birth and the movement he has got is the maximum that can be achieved after years of mind control therapy. The right and left side can only work in conjunction. Any form of Asprin is out for him as he has had ulcers although we both totally agree that this does ease the pain. He was prescribed morphine for years, but very sensibly took it only when he was in very bad pain. He never became addicted to it, as he was using it only when the pain was too great. In fact he is not allowed any pain relieving drugs, only the very occasional, paracetamol. It is a worry sometimes, because he hurts so much , and gets very little sleep and then very easily becomes depressed about everything. Even massage is too painful for him to bear, so I feel at a real loss at how to help him sometimes. It seems to be a mad circle.!! Hope to speak again soon. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!2!254!44!Sheila.Jones Internet: Sheila.Jones@f44.n254.z2.fidonet.org
