For example OK, let's risk making a real fool of myself; as far as I have been able to tell in the past, when a machine is rebooted, it starts counting processes from 1 (or whatever) again. Imagine a machine that goes down and comes back up twice in one day, and it'd easy to imagine a situation where someone could *possibly* hit a conflict, unlikely as it is.
