As the subject line says, I need specific information or a good source of
specific information regarding phone communications.  Exactly, I would like
to know how tone and pulse information is sent and received (i.e. freqs,
pulse codes, ICs for use in such apps, etc) and voltage and purpose of
the four wires used for phone communications.  If any one is a guru in
such matters or knows of a good source book/manual, please respond via email
to me.
