- a fast computer
- a seatbelt    8-) 
- a good vga card and monitor is nice
- a joystick is VERY nice (flightstick is best)
- expanded memory is used, but slows down program response - i don't use
  it most of the time.
- i bought it used for $30, but i think retail is around $40-45.
