Ideally such a mode would: 1. Fill lines using a backslash before the newline: set path = (. /usr/ucb ~/bin ~/bin/sunx ~/bin/sun3 ~/archive \ /usr/bin /usr/local/bin /usr/bin/X11 ) 2. Understand at least the basic control structures (if, while,...) My biggest priority would probably be correct filling using backslashes.
