No fun at all, that one. But BIX turns out not to be good for much. Very few .GIFs. Very little of anything online as it turns out. They had some old version of FST, claimed to have support from FST that was nonexistent (Carvalho seems to have moved on; it is like BIX that he didn't log on for 9 months and they never had a clue; the BIX boys and girls strike me as a rather clue-less lot). It took a FidoNet discussion combined with USENET to figure out what was up. I think you're well out of it. Between distance charges of a minimum of $20 a month, and a bill of $13 a month for BIX itself, it adds up quick and videotapes are both cheaper and more entertaining.
