Could anyone give some rough estimates for the speed and size improvements for programs compiled in the $G+ state (code generated for 80286 and better processors). Is there any speed increase at all? Also, the version change of TP 5.0 to TP 5.5 increased the speed of multiplying real numbers by about 50% (approximate), any more increases/optimizations in TP 6.0? -Ben bpz4r@virginia.edu
