Right now, four of them have fans with the "death rattle", or dead fans. These printers are all about 2 years old. Repair turnaround from our Apple dealer is about 6 weeks! Are others seeing this problem? I think HP LaserJet IIs are the same print engine, as well as one or two models of QMS. I haven't seen this problem with old Apple LaserWriters or LW Plus, some almost six years old. We've been using recycled toner cartridges for about nine months. Could that be the cause? -- Rex Sanders, MacSupport sanders.parc@xerox.com
