I talked with NEC about this, and they said that in fact a new laser printer would be released soon but would not be competitive with the current 90 version (not as cheap). To anyone interested in getting a Postscript laser printer at a great price ($1599-$1699) I urge you to get one. The only competitve model I've seen is upgrading an HP IIP with an Adobe cartidge and 2MB of RAM. This costs around $1600-$1800 dollars depending on your affiliation with an academic institution. Sorry about the misinformation (beaver!you know who you are). Clint Olsen olsenc@maxwell.ee.washington.edu
