Summary: Customer has this, what is it? Message-ID: <1991Mar27.194923.20813@mccc.edu> Date: 27 Mar 91 19:49:23 GMT Organization: The College On The Other Side of U. S. Route 1 Lines: 28 HEEEEEEELLLLLPPP! My company has recently started doing business oversees in Germany and Greece. We've been supporting out software packages using dial-up lines via Carbon Copy. We're having an extremely hard time connecting via modem oversees, so we're looking at alternate ways to xmit files over to these remote machines. One of the offices in Germany gave us a photocopied cover page to a package called PC/Mailbox v4.0 - at the bottom it said 'GE INFORMATION SERVICES' or something like that. They say they are using this package there now. Can anyone tell me what this thing is? Is it a resident E-Mail system for PC's or what? Where can I get more information? On the flipside, we'd like to be able to send files to these sites in Germany. I'd like any suggestions about E-Mail services, dial-up servers, whatever that we here in the U.S. can do to support our systems in Germany... E-Mail would be appreciated... ,___, .--------------------------------------------------------------. \o.o/ | Dave Shevett | Unix-PC BOF | The shortest distance between | ( \_/ ) | Lawrenceville,NJ | TCF '91 | two puns is a Straight Line | |_|_| | shevett@mccc.EDU | Apr 20-21st | -- Doc Webster | '--------------------------------------------------------------'
