With the pc's that have dos3.3 we can use any drive letter as the new drive, all the way to z: We just got three new machines with dos4.01 and letters past m: seem to hang the machine. I can assign the drive (ie link it) and even change to it by typing z: for example but as soon as I try to do a cd or dir the pc hangs. Is there a limitation in dos4.01 wrt drive letters. pasquale@sgl.ists.ca
