We need to print a bar code onto a label and have the same
printer put a color bar along the top of the label. None of the
bar code vendors I have spoken with can do color in this manner.
Thermal technology is out; it probably will have to be dot matrix.
The media has an acrylic backing and will be stored in a freezer.
The colors needed are the primary colors. Ideally the label will
print in less than 20 seconds so plotters are out.
