Since I have a 9 track tape drive (w/o a suitable interface card) I would like to hook this thing up. I've called several of the more well known vendors of IBM-PC compatible 9 track stuff, and they don't have SCSI interfaces. I'd be willing to use a non-SCSI interface, but after they hit with a hefty price tag for the interface card itself, I scream RAPE when they tell me what they want for the Unix driver software to make the thing useable to me. So, does anybody know of a bridge card to hook a standard Pertec interface 9 track up to a SCSI (Adaptec 1542) interface, that will do the nice plug-n-play SCSI thing? Thanks! -- del AKA Erik Lindberg uunet!pilchuck!fnx!del Who is John Galt?
