The "idrive" configuration line is for InterDrive, our NFS client, which 
works as you surmise. Since more of our customers buy PC/TCP with InterDrive
(as PC/TCP Plus) than buy it alone, the PC/TCP manual includes InterDrive
information where its exclusion might be confusing to PC/TCP Plus users. 
Here, it seems to have worked the other way around!
