The source to a PD 8051 ASM dev environment written in FPC Forth, (an extrememly powerful freeware Forth system for the 80x86) is available for download from the RealTime Control & Forth Board, ###-#### in .signature below. A very inexpensive assembler is available from PseudoCorp, whose M1-like macro assemblers of the PseudoSam family are cheap (~~$50) powerful and correct. Can't help ya with the simulator. I'm a Forth programmer. Once Forth is booted, we don't need no steenking simulator. Before Forth is up, we send asterisks out the serial port ... :-) -- < Member, > /// ///\\\ \\\ /// < X3J14 TC > /// /// \\\ \\\/// < for ANS > \\\ /// ///====\\\ ///\\\ < Forth > \\\/// /// \\\ /// \\\
