Subject: Why don't certain VGA cards work with the BB?

Why do boards like the ATI VGA Wonder, and the Paradise VGA cards work with
the Bridgeboard while others don't?  For instance I have a board with a
TSENG4000 chip on it.  When the card is in the system, the PC will never boot
the first time.  When I do a hardware reset it reboots fine, but the 8K ROM
BIOS extention at D4000 disappears, thus I can not use the Janus utilities.
The card doesn't try to use this area of memory, so I can't understand why
the ROM is disappearing.  (Yes, I have the CGA emulation turned off).  Does
anyone know what might me going on here?  Thanks.
