RE: CHARACTER LEVELS.... Well, it's hard to say. By the time I completed 
DM1, I had my FIGHTERS (STAMM AND HALK) up to 4th level MASTER (It 
doesn't get any higher) These two also were 2nd and 3rd MASTER WIZARD 
and Priest. My other main WIZARD and PRIEST reached 3rd and 4th MASTER 
in each. I was deliberately trying to get them up as high as I could, 
though. You won't necessarily have to get them up this high to win 
the game - although, if you want to use the same characters to play 
CHAOS STRIKES BACK, you will want to build them up as high as possible!
