Lines: 15 Hi folks, I have heard many things about the Phoenix board (a replacement for your old A1000 main board). None of the reviews I read had negative results with the Phoenix board. I was wondering whether someone tested the board in conjunction with a LUCAS/FRANCES board. Currently I have a LUCAS & FRANCES board running at 20 Meg. Since the old A1000 board is pretty noisy I would like to replace it with something better but don't want to have obsolete LUCAS FRANCES boards. I read that the Phoenix board provided for an SCSI chip socket. What SCSI chip will be used ? Does the board come (or will come) with software for this (i.e. a driver etc) ?? - joost -
