I received a phone call from Scott Hood at CBM today. He described the fix to the A2320 Display Enhancer card. This fix corrects the grey shade problem that colours 777 and 888 are identical. This problem does not exist with the A3000. Simply put: Remove rp301 through rp303. This is a 180 ohm series resistor. Replace it with a 33 ohm series resistor. Service centres should be receiving an update within the next few weeks. This may not necessarily be considered a warranty repair but can probably be accomodated by an exchange. I must say that once again I am impressed by the responsiveness and accessibility of the Commodore engineering team. Scott, thanks again for your efforts. Keith Hanlan keithh@bnr.ca Bell-Northern Research, Ottawa, Canada 613-765-4645 Well I did this on my own (rp301,302,303 are resistor packs) removing the three resistor packs and, not able to find 33ohm resistor packs I just used 12-33ohm 1/4watt resistors, all seems to work! I now get a difference between a 777 grey and a 888 grey. Thanks for the POST!!! -- Guy Dandrea, Network Systems Corp. // guy@nsco.network.com #129.191.1.1 \\ // 7600 Boone Ave No, Mpls.
