I particularly liked Flashback from Nexxus. > Another new hard drive backup program on the market is Ami-Back, from AmiComp Software Development in Orlando, Florida. Ami-Back supports backups to all types of media, including tape drives. And it doesn't require device specific drivers. It was developed as a WB 2.0 *only* program (requires KS 36.314 or later). The program looks like a part of the 2.0 Workbench and works much better than BRU. No offence, Fred (-:. In fact, a tech support person at Commodore-Canada bought the program and *loves* it. For tape users, in particular, Ami-Back includes a scheduler program modeled after the Unix cron, but with a 2.0 graphical interface. See FF447 for a demo version of v1.0 (current release is v1.02). The demo is also available on bix, GEnie and PeopleLink. During testing, GVP loaned us a WT-150 drive and Commodore loaned us one of their new A3070 drives. Both work flawlessly and are FAST with the program. btw:GVP *really* likes the program. Commercial mode off. The above information was provided for your reading pleasure.
