would a standard rs232 cable work as a cable for modem for the A2000 ?
My dealer says yes, but it doesn't work. the TR, SD and RD are always
on. He tested the machine and says nothing is wrong with the serial
port and blamed the modem. Well the modem works fine with my A1000
(I'm posting this using it). It is an Avatex 1200 modem. Does anybody
know what could be wrong ? Please respond by email.
