I have been trying to get _any_ gadget to work on my system and they all GURU my machine. I got a string gadget to work in ASM once, but there were many problems with it. Also, is there a PD set of _buffered_ serial IO routines? Any lanuage will do as long as source is included. I can do routines using GetMsg, etc, but would prefer a system where I could tell the serial IO handler to keep the text until I next call for it. Thanks to all that responded to my request for Lisp info. I now have AMXLisp as well as Scheme and XScheme. AMXLisp looks great, since it allows OS function calls. +--------------------------------+--------------------------------+ | Jon Baker -- Chaos Foundation | jpbaker@rose.ucs.indiana.edu | | "We were lost 10 miles ago, | sl242003@silver.ucs.indiana.edu| | there must be a new word for +--------------------------------+ | what we are now." | +--------------------------------+
