Read the owners manual regarding ASCII file transfer and the
translate code settings.  You will find that the backslash
character "\" is a way of representing non-ASCII HP48SX characters
using an ASCII character sequence.  This helps in providing
readable ASCII HP48SX source code on machines (such as your PC or
terminal) that cannot display the full HP48SX character set.
