It is 32-bit clean, supports lightweight threads, is based on an object oriented model, extensible (you can replace any class with your own class), and has a better user interface than Windows (or the Mac for that matter!). Furthermore, GO is pushing the open standards idea. After watching a GO demo and futzing with a protype for a bit afterwards, I am convinced that GO is the computer of the future.
