Lines: 6 i'm am trying to set the data bits on my parallel port. So i wrote a program i n basic that should set them all high ( lprint chr$(255)) I put the program in an infinite loop, But when I tested the data pins they always remained low. I also tried grounding the acknowledge pin, but that made no difference. I want to be able to be able to have a constant value outputting on the parrallel bus. I am positive there is nothing wrong with my equipment. I would appreciate any assistance given. Very Respectfully, Joseph Roth
