I am new to the net so I would appreciate any help anyone out
there can give me.

I have downloaded some files from the FTP sites to my system at 
work (an Encore/Gould Power Node system running UNIX).  No problems
so far.  I can download these files to my Mac, but they always come
out as some document file and are not recognized by either StuffIt or 
CompactPro.  I am running MacKnowledge on my Mac.  From the Mac side I 
have specified both Auto Select protocol and MacBinary at different 
times, both with the same results.

I have been using a routing called sx_xmodem that someone else here in
the office uses.  He uses this to download to a Commodore, maybe this is
why that routine is not working for me.

Can anyone suggest what routing I should be using from the Unix end to
send files to my Mac?  Thanks in advance for any help!!
