The only way to transfer 5.25" disks is to hook up a IIe with that size drive to your Mac and run the communications utility from II in a Mac on the II and the emulator on the Mac. It chokes on some kinds of copy protection. As a test, I tried several games and only a couple old ones worked. Bard's Tale I transferred ok, for example. It runs only in monochrome. You could probably buy a IIe with monitor for little more than the price of the emulator.
