I have been getting conflicting answers from dealers, vendors, etc .. a. Is it true that only a slim (1") hard drive will fit the Classic internally. Will the new Quantum LPS drives fit the Classic ?? And will the older Quantums NOT fit ?? Is this true of the SE/30 as well ? b. Does the Classic require some kind of board for internal memory expansion ? Where does this board fit and what is this board called or cost ? I thought that regular SIMMS would do the job. Is there a 3rd party board that will do the job? Will appreciate any answers to the above. e-mail to rmy@trout.cis.ufl.edu P.S. In addition to the bare drive, what else is needed to install an internal hard drive in the Classic (i.e. cables, mounting brackets, etc. Is there some place I can get these ? I already have a drive (Quantum 80S) taken from an external drive -- I would like to install this in a Classic or in a friend's SE/30. Any suggestions for mounting kits ?? Thanks a lot yaseen
